Masters/USA Swimming LCM Meet May 27-28

Your first chance to compete long course this year will be a joint USA Swimming/USMS meet at the Highland Aquatic Center May 27 & 28.  Here's a link for the general event information and one for the entry form.  You'll enter on line and pay by mail or at the meet.

Registration open for Swim Into Summer meet June 3

Bask in the sun (we hope) at our annual outdoor meet at the Richfield pool on Friday June 3.  Registration is open through May 31.  You can find full information about the meet here.  Relay entries for the meet should be submitted using this form.   

Timers and officials needed for Swim Into Summer meet on June 3

We are looking for timers for our first Long Course Meters Meet of the season!  The meet will take place at the Richfield Pool, 630 East 66th Street, on Friday, June 3rd.    We will need timers to report no later than 10:45 AM.  The meet will finish no later than 2:45 PM.  Timers will be paid $15/hour. Parking is free. If you're not swimming at the meet, yet want to socialize, please consider helping us out!  Pass the link to family and friend who might appreciate earning some cash while enjoying the meet poolside! SWIM-Off to Summer

Ready to help the pool swimmers retain the title of "Who rules the open water?" in a friendly challenge with the triathletes? Registration is now open for the 3rd annual SWIM-Off to Summer open water challenge scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Shady Oak Beach in Hopkins/Minnetonka. Three distances to choose from (.3 mile, .9 mile, and 1.2 mile) Awards, prizes, and potluck social to follow the event.  Register using this link.

Swim Angels Needed for Lake Minnetonka Triathlon

Lake Minnetonka Triathlon (Saturday, June 18, the Commons in Excelsior) is looking for swim angels for the swim portion of the triathlon. The swim angels will be in the water, on the watch for participants that need redirecting, verbal encouragement, or someone to swim along side them. Registration open for Gopher Masters Mania meet July 8-10

We'll hold a three day meet at the University of Minnesota pool on July 8-10.

  • Friday evening session with the 800, 800 Free Relay, 200 IM and all the 50s
  • Saturday sessions with all the events 400 meters and shorter (except the 200 IM)
  • Sunday morning session with the 1500 and a third chance to swim 50s

Registration is open through July 1 with discounted registration through June 3.  You can find full information about the meet here

Relay entries can be submitted using this form by July 4 - there will be no deck relay entries for this meet.

Minnesota Masters Swimming LMSC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a healthy swimming lifestyle for adult swimmers within 87 counties in Minnesota and 3 in Western Wisconsin. It is the local governing body for United States Masters Swimming (USMS).

There are 1,172 registered swimmers in the Minnesota LMSC and over 60,000 nationwide. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to join. No prior competitive swimming experience is necessary.
