ACCEPTING 2022 HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS

The Minnesota Masters Swimming Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Class of Hall of Famers. This will be the Hall of Fame’s ninth year. We plan to have a fun induction celebration sometime around October, perhaps at the annual dinner meeting. Please see the Minnesota Masters Website under Hall of Fame for interesting historical stories of the past honorees.

Nominations are being accepted until August 1, 2022. The HOF Committee will review past and current nominees and the new slate of honorees will be revealed at the October 2022 Annual Meeting / Awards Dinner.

To be considered, a swimmer or coach must be registered on a Club or Workout Group within the Minnesota LMSC (past or present) for at least ten years. Nominees should have a strong swimming record of top performance or a long-term coach that has made a difference. If you know of an individual who has made contributions to the betterment of Masters swimming through long-term outstanding swimming or coaching performance within Minnesota Masters and would like to nominate that person, please answer the following questions in an email and send it to: Hall of Fame committee co-chairs Marc Anderson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and Tom Hodgson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). PLEASE put “HOF 2022” on the subject line. You can also join together with others to make a combined recommendation if you like. You can also email any questions to the same address. Please make sure to put “HOF 2022” on the subject line for ALL communications.

Note: Those previously nominated will again be considered this year.
